Odds and ends
Well, the advice from King Arthur Flour (run it thru the self-cleaning cycle) worked a treat. I had to clean my oven first, but since it's still cold, the heated kitchen was hardly unwelcome.
I have been craving fried food recently - egg rolls and fried potatoes in all forms.
I need to tear myself away from the blog and start working on the final draft of my paper - cooking time has definitely been reduced because of it. But after I get the draft done and sent to A. for review, I do want to make some chicken enchiladas. Got some corn tortillas and Jack at the store this morning. Also some frozen corn for potato-pancetta-corn chowder.
